INFORMATION

APPLICATIONS: CCHA offers Public Housing apartments only to eligible applicants.  To be declared eligible, you must complete an application and successfully complete the applicant screening process.

EMERGENCY SERVICE: CCHA provides a phone number for tenants to call to request after-hours emergency maintenance service.  Please verify an actual emergency exists before you call.  Non-emergency maintenance service requests should be phoned in to your local CCHA Office on the next regular working day.  For Emergency Maintenance Instructions CLICK HERE.

WAIT TIMES: Most applicants must wait for an available apartment.  Placement in the Renovo area is typically much faster than the Lock Haven area for 2-bedroom apartments and larger.  For a listing of typical wait times for the Lock Haven area, CLICK HERE.

AMMENITIES & LOCATIONS: Apartments range in size from Efficiency to 5-Bedroom.  Rent is based on household income.  Rent for most apartments includes electricity, natural gas, heat, water, sewer, and trash removal.  A Utility Allowance is available for apartments where rent does not include utilities.  A cooking range and refrigerator are provided in every apartment.  For more details, click on a project name below:

LOCK HAVEN PROJECTS: Bennage Heights, Probst Plaza, Linden Heights, Poorman Circle, Carter Towers, Moriarty Court, Putnam Manor, Irvin Park, Williamson Heights

RENOVO PROJECTS: Ransdorf Manor, Sullivan Acres, Mills Park

LATE RENT: CCHA rent is due on the first of every month for that month.  Rent is considered late if not paid by the 1st.  A LATE FEE is applied if your rent is not paid by the 10th of every month.  Tenants who pay late more than three times in twelve months may be evicted.  Tenants are expected to pay rent on time, every time.
